Jason Tagler

Director & Founder

Jason Tagler is the founder of Pitch Creator, a social-impact education platform built to level the playing field for entrepreneurs outside of Silicon Valley. Through the platform, he has helped over 3,000 entrepreneurs and students learn how to communicate with investors and raise capital. The founders featured on Pitch Creator’s website have collectively raised over $200 million, while many others have also secured equity financing, loans, and grants.

Pitch Creator is built on Jason’s 20+ years of experience investing in private companies. He has invested in, and led:

  • Equity rounds of all stages - angel, venture capital, growth equity, and buyout rounds;

  • Debt rounds; and

  • Structured capital rounds.

Throughout his career, he has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in private companies, represented investment firms on more than 20 corporate boards, and raised hundreds of millions of dollars for investment funds.

Earlier in his career, he worked as an investment banker in Silicon Valley, helping CEOs prepare their business pitches for IPOs and M&A transactions.

Jason and Pitch Creator have been featured in Inc. Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine Online, and other publications. He has been a visiting instructor at the University of Colorado Boulder, Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland, University of Baltimore, and Loyola University Maryland.

He holds an M.B.A and a B.S. in Applied Economics from Cornell University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Based in Colorado, Jason enjoys skiing, hiking, and mountain biking with friends and family.
